It is the year 2029: Astronaut Leo Davidson boards a pod cruiser on a Space Station for a "routine" reconnaissance mission. Poor imitation of the Original
Dark, even for Burton. None of the social commentary & bite of the original. He missed the point.
None of the dark humor of the original. No in-depth look into the ape society. Simpleton plot.
Really stretched to provide a twist in the end which had none of the shock value of the original. End made no sense whatever!
